Positive Turn
Hello Everyone:
I'm definitely starting to think things are taking a turn for the better. I booked another interview for Wednesday for a part time job as an office assistant. I'll listen to what the person has to say before making up mind. I deliberately made it for Wednesday because I have a Zoom interview tomorrow for a contact tracer job and I want to see if I get offered the position. Also, I'm finally getting the rent assistance money I applied for. All good stuff. Now watch, my grocery card will be in the mail. Definitely grateful to the universe for this positive turn of events. The Brit BF messaged me to say that the studio executive was planning to read over his pitch this week and, hopefully soon, we should know what she thinks. Personally speaking it's a great pitch proposal. It hits all the right marks and it's cute. I'm not just saying that because I'm the girlfriend. My sincere hope is that in six months I won't need any more rent and grocery assistance, I'll be happily employed, living with the Brit BF, and on my way to a great career. It could all happen if I work for it. The rental assistance take one load off mind and landing a job will take another big load off. If I take the contact tracer job, I'm not going to freak out like the last time. I'm going to do the job and do it well because now I'm trained and ready for it. I just hope I can do it remotely because one of the things that the pandemic has made me realize is that commutes really suck up too much of my time. I know that eventually I'll have to make some sort of a commute but it'll be for something I want to do. Contact tracing is challenging but not the career; the pandemic won't last forever. If I can work remotely for as much as I can and still have a life, then great. When I feel ready to commute, then I will.
