Productive Few Days

Hello Everyone:

It’s been a very productive few days.  I had to pause the City Hiring Program because of mum’s illness but Thursday I hit the restart button. I scheduled a day and time for the next part of the process—an assessment test. Basically it’s one of those tests that you can’t fail. You just have to show you can read, write, and do math at a high school freshman level. I’m not too worried.  I also had to re-order a book from Amazon because it wasn’t delivered. Fortunately customer service was really cool about it. They refunded my money and I got free shipped no from it. Really, I found the book for a better price and it already came with free shipping so I came out ahead. That was Thursday. Friday, I made surebI had plenty of time to color my hair. Have to stay on top of those grays and roots. I finally got some rest yesterday and today I made sure that I was ready in time to go to the movie at the PLB Theater. So, yes, productive. Good. I need to get things back on track. It’s not mum’s fault she got sick. It’s all the extra time and attention she required that made it difficult to keep my life moving forward. Now that she seems stable enough, I can get back to things and move forward.  I’m looking forward to a little more downtime this week, with the winter holidays. I do have to go with mum to one of her appoints but it shouldn’t be a big deal. Hopefully I’all keep up my pace.
