Hello Everyone:
Today was a little better in terms of mum and the caregiver. The caregiver took a little more intiative regarding her schedule, which is a good thing. Mum has this terrible habit of waiting until the last minute to make a time request of a person and expecting the person to suddenly re-arrange their schedule to accommodate her. Even more maddening is her habit of expecting someone else to act as an intermdiary for her. The caregiver told mum that she has to let her (the caregiver) in advance the days mum needs her because she has other clients and can't drop the at the last minute for her. Fair enough. Knowing mum, she'll act like some poor soul, being bossed around by this mean person. I really don't have time for an adult child. Scheduling the caregiver is her responsibility, not anyone else' so mum has to do it in a more timely manner. In other news, I had a pleasant enough day. I got what I need to do, done. That always puts me in a good mood. I think I'll reward myself with that piece of chocolate mousse cake in the refrigerator. Yum, it's so good.
