More tech issues but not as annoying as yesterday. It's time for my bi-monthly banishment to the PLB Theater. Thank goodness for the hotspot setting on my phone. I'll have to use again tomorrow because of another event happening in my usual workspace. The good news is that this event lasts only one hour. I can blog and check out good work opportunities once the event is over. In general the day has been going well. I finished the post I started yesterday. Yay. I found a short one for tomorrow so I can finish it before I have to run to the dollar store for mum. I so hate going to that store because the customer service is less than stellar-way less than stellar. Also, the quality of the goods isn't all that great. Then again, it is the dollar store. I'm going to try convince mum that Thursday would be a better day. She probably won't go for it because Thursday is the teenage nephew's graduation and she's so anxious about being ready on time. The ceremony is at 7:00pm and if I go early enough in the afternoon, I will still have ample time to get ready, not that I need a lot of time for makeup and wardrobe. She's like that all the time, gets so anxious about being ready on time whenever there's a family thing. She just hovers over me, thinking that'll make me go faster. No, it doesn't make me go faster, it does just the very opposite. I always manage to beat the clock. I get the sense that mum allowed sis and her family to run her life. I don't get that one. I mean, if I say something to mum, she gets upset and tells me not to tell her what to do. If the BIL or sis tell her something, she clicks her heels and does it. I could be wrong but it sure feels like mum expects both of us to live acording to their lives. I simply refuse to do so. I give mum a hard time about that. I especially don't like the BIL has assumed de facto head of household status. It's bogus. Anyway, I ramble. Must be getting time for dinner.
