Recruiter Mail

Hello Everyone:

I am tired from the day and just short of falling asleep in my clothes. Not very comfortable. Fortunately I still have enough energy left to get ready for bed. I had a nice productive day. Did some grocery shoppers for mom this morning, replied to a recruiter email, and posted a nice piece on vehicular terrorism. I had a nice buzz going this morning and I wasn't going to let some tech gremlins messing with my laptop spoil it for me. Come to think of it, nothing or no one was gong on I wreck my buzz. I think I found my meditation music happy place. The sound of rain does it for me. I've always liked the sound of rain, very soothing. I don't like going out in the rain unless nuance to; I just like listening to it. Definite meditation music happy spot. The recruiter that got in touch with me sent an email about a job opportunity in the area. It's a writing job for an international cultural website. It looks kind of interesting but I'm not sure how I'd fit in. Obviously I won't know until I get the job and start working there but I look at my background and I'm still not sure. I'll talk with the recruiter and find out more. In the meantime, I sent the recruiter a copy of my resume. One of the pre-screening questions I was asked is my familiarity with streaming sites. Of course, I wrote that I'm on a few of sites. Then I added, why is this relevant.  As in, why do they need to know if I have an account with a streaming service?  Do they want to see what music and podcasts I listen to before they hire me. Is that a condition of employment?  Not that I care if they check out my Spotify playlists. They might get a good laugh out out them but whatever. I'll read over the job description a little more and go from there. It might be a great opportunity.
