Another good day in the blogosphere. I posted a follow up to yesterday's piece on the Grenfell Tower Fire. Tomorrow is the weekly installment of Blogger Candidate Forum. I was seriously annoyed this morning by PLB maintenance. Mom called maintenance to check the ventilation in our apartment. Someone's smoking was leeching into the walls and getting into her bedroom. Understandly she couldn't take the odor. It was aggravating her respiratory issues. Anyway, maintenance came today to check out the ventilation system in the apartment. Of course, maintenance had to check my bathroom, pulling me out of the shower. I was dripping wet and had conditioner on my head. I was so pissed. The maintenance person seemed to be taking his time about everything and I'm standing around in my robe. I finally was able to get in and finish after a short while. With that done and out of the way, I was able to move on with my day. Right now, I'm just chilling in front of the trusty laptop, with a Season 2 of Empire. Nothing like a completely crazy and dysfunctional, albeit fictional, family to make you feel better about your own. Another good thing I did today was apply for work as a tutor. The pay and hours are better and no cleaning out smelly, messy dressing rooms. I so hate that. We'll what happens next.
