Something Meaningful

Hello Everyone:

Another Monday. Woo freakin' hoo. Actually it wasn't too bad, as far as Mondays go. I posted an interesting piece on the geography of immigration and innovation. No surprise that most of it is clustered on the east and west coasts. Tomorrow, it's back to my other favorite subject, public health. I'm not being facetious, I actually find the subject fascinating because it focuses on the impact of the built environment on human health. I can definitely see a connection to historic preservation. There's even research to support this. That's my problem, I have far too many interests and no outlet for it to channel all my intellectual pursuits. I wonder if there's someone I can speak to, for free, that can help me figure what to do with myself. It's ridiculous that I can't find something to do and get paid for it, other than menial work. No one understands how frustrating it is to not have some constructive purpose or guidance. I do need to speak to someone and not a therapist. They're just educated gossips.   Yes, I have no love for therapists because they just keep going around in circles. I need someone who can provide guidance and structure not just talk. Even worse, their are those that will go behind your back and divulge confidences. Who can trust someone like that. Anyway, I don't want to talk about my childhood or relationships. I want to talk about how I can channel all my energies into something meaningful.
