Hello Everyone:
For the most part, today was a pretty good one. I say for the most part because around 4:30 this afternoon, I got call from a social worker at a local hospital about mom. Momwas hit by a car and lost consciousness. Fortunately, it was slow speed and all mom suffered was bumps and bruises. Thank goodness. The hospital decided to keep her overnight as a precaution. I spoke with her before and she seemed back to normal. When I asked what exactly happened, she blew it off like it was abhang nail. Um, she could've been more seriously injured. Anyway, sis gave me an update on mom's condition. She should be home tomorrow and needs someone to look after her. I guess I could work at home. I'll have to hotspot it and blog away. I suppose I'll have to pretend to be the dutiful daughter. Not really my favorite role. I know it sounds awful but it can wear on me after a short while. Mom can be a little on the demanding side or she can be very talkative. Hopefully all will be good.
