Doughnuts

Hello Everyone:

I spent a frustrating afternoon trying to work at home. Even with the hotspot, the connection was turtle slow. Somehow, I managed to momentarily overcome the issue and submit an application for an editor associate job at a local museum. All good. I wrote a pretty good cover letter and updated my LinkedIn profile to make it look more attractive.  Tomorrow I get to go with mom to Kaiser for her follow up appointment. She has the appointment and I hope to chat with someone from member services about joining the plan and keeping my ACA.  I don't want to spend forever talking to whoever. This isn't rocket science. Mom is one hundred percent back to her usual cheerful (sarcasm alert) self. She was getting on my nerves this afternoon. She was anxious to do some cooking and couldn't wait for me to finish what I was doing. I had to tell her that she was getting on my last nerve. On a more pleasant note, dinner at sis's house turned out to be fun. The food was okay, dessert was particularly good. Fluffy jelly and chocolate filled doughnuts. I had one if the chocolate filled doughnuts and now I'm good for a week. I say this despite mom asking me to buy some doughnuts today. Now it's time for bed.
