Binge Watching

Hello Everyone:

I've been binge watching The Night Manager. I am am totally in favor of Tom Hiddleston taking over the role of James Bond. Hugh Laurie would make an excellent Bond villain. I also watched a fairly entertaining movie Elvis and Nixon. A fictional retelling of the real life meeting betwen Presodent Richard Nixon and Elvis Presley. It really did happen, the picture of the two shaking hands is the most requested image from the National Archives. Kevin Spacey plays the president but all I kept thinking Frank Underwood from House of Cards.  Everything about his portrayal of President Nixon screamed Frank Underwood, right down to the double knock on the desk. Otherwise, it was pretty good. The Brit BF had to work the whole weekend so no Skype date. I missed him. We did Skype earlier in the week for a short time. I told him that I've been managing to fill my time instead of sprawling out on the bed. Mom was hanging out in my room, watching 60 Minutes, talking back to the television as usual. It'a a habit I've picked up, for better or worse. Anyway, back to The Night Manager, can't wait to see how it all ends. Got to love John La Carré
