Only A Few More Days

Hello Everyone:

I can't believe that this time, next week, I'll be fast asleep in the Brit BF's arms. I can't wait to see him after so long. In the meantime, mom is making crazy with all the pre-flight preparations. The problem is I have a checklist of my own and I just do. I don't make a big deal of it. Mom is in a minor state of panic. She went as far as to say, "I don't know how you're to go, you're not ready."  I will be. I feel confident about being ready. Probably more confident than I do meeting his sisters and brother. I guess I won't be really excited until I see the Irish coast. Then I'll know that made the crossing and get excited. Why the Irish coast?  According to American immigration history, the Irish coast was the last things the Irish would see before heading out sea and America or Canada. So I'm going to use that as my marker for arrival. Then there's the last 45 minutes of the flight, a Peter Pan landing path. Follow the contours of The Thames and once around Big Ben.  I am so looking forward to finally seeing my guy in person.
