Luv Land

Hello Everyone:

First full day in the Brit BF's hometown and I like the place.  It has a nice mix of old and new architecture. London is also like that but the BF's hometown is more laid back. The day started out nice and sunny then rain.  A downpour complete with thunder and lighting. I was warned about northern English weather and I was prepared. Mom seems to be a little more mellow about my being away. She found something to do that doesn't involve the minion. Good, hopefully she'll make a regular habit of it. I think tomorrow we're planning a more mellow day. Just stuff around the house and in town. Let's hope no rain. This morning was perfect. I woke up with him, next to me, in bed after we made love. We've done that quite a bit-making up for lost time. I wish this could be the cas all the time. One day. For now, I'm enjoying every minute.  I actually don't miss mom or anyone else back in Los Angeles. As I explained before, I don't get sentimental over people and places. I learned not to do that because when it eventually goes away, it's less painful. I did miss the Brit BF but thanks to Skype, it was less painful. Besides, I can't really miss mom because she text me a few times a day. Anyway, I noticed that I've been called luv more times an I can count and taken mass transportation more than I have back. I like the transportation system in the UK.  It's far more reliable and reasonably efficient than in Los Angeles. The being called luv or darling by random strangers is tolerable. It's just something people do. It's not meant to be derogatory or demeaning and definitely better than being catcalled by guys. Alright, I'm tired.  More later.
