Hello Everyone:
It has been the most incredibly busy past few days. I spent Wednesday packing and making all the final preparations for my trip. I did laundry, some grocery shopping, and cleaned up a little. I still forget somethings. I told mom I'd text her a grocery list before I came home. Thursday was the day that would not end. Finished packing and the niece came to pick me up to go the airport. I sailed through bag check and security with enough time for coffee and blogging. Finally, I boarded the airplane. The flight itself was pretty uneventful. I ended up next to a couple who were either Scottish or from very Northern England. I watched a movie and tried to get some sleep. We actually landed an hour a head of schedule, which was amazing by itself. I cut through customs pretty quickly. I ended up with this customs officers who was pretty cool. He gave me a little bit of s third-degree but it was all in good fun. Found my bag pretty quickly then went to good meet the Brit BF. I waited and waited and waited for him. Something like an hour. I texted mom to tell her I landed. Then she texted me to find out if he showed up. He didn't show up right away. I sent him a couple of messages. Mom called me to see if everything was all right and then I got upset. I think it was mostly the jet lag because I went off on her, telling her she won and I was ready to turn around and come home. Finally, I went over to airport information and got a hold of him. More jet lag induced chewing out. He finally showed and I was so happy to see him. He came with one of his sisters, who drove us back to her flat in a London suburb. We sort of took the long circuitous route and ended up with a flat tire at one point. We drove through this rather nice neighborhood in southwest London with narrow streets and row houses. Charming. What was the reunion like? Let's just say we couldn't our hands off each other. We already made love to each other. I know, that was quick. Well, have been waiting a long time. Hopefully, the rest of the trip will go smoothly.
