A Better Second Day

Hello Everyone:

Second full day in the UK and I had a lovely day. After our morning running, we met a couple of the Brit BF's friends from school in the South Bank area in London. It was such a gorgeous and warm day. I had great time walking along the bank taking in the sights. London is a beautiful city. I'm so glad the jet-lag crabbiness is gone and can start to enjoy myself. I still have some residual jet-lag because I found myself drifting off during lunch with his friends. The South Bank area is very vibrant. There were people walking and taking in the sights.  I knew my day was going be good because during my morning run, l saw people walking their dogs, pushing buggies (strollers), jogging, walking, and playing sports. A good thing in my book.  After the lovely afternoon, we had supper with his sisters and brother-in-law. I like them, they're good people.  It was one his sisters's wedding anniversary so we toasted that occasion. The only minor blip in on the scanner was getting stuck at a turnstile in the subway. Momentarily embarrassing but quickly remedied. Tomorrow, we're off to his hometown to meet his brother and sightsee some more.  I'm looking forward to it.
