Good Tuesday

Hello Everyone:

A pretty good day for me. Mom had an appointment for some tests so I had a nice quiet morning to get a couple of things done. The afternoon was dedicated, usual to posting the latest and greatest. Over lunch, I had pretty busy few minutes. With a touch of my nicely manicured finger, I applied for a freelance writing job and made contact with a Georgetown professor who published a book that covered some of the same things as my thesis. I love the digital age, don't you?  Now, I just took a quick look at the local Musuem employment listing and found a part time job I can do. Feast or famine my friends. Slowly but surely I'll find something.  No waiting around for me.  Right now, my big priority is getting ready for this trip. Even though I have some time, there's still plenty to do. I already have the big thing out of the way-my passport. That turned out to be a painless process, despite the hassle. The next thing is trying to raise a few pennies for spending money. That's a real challenge. I need a job pretty quickly. Freelance gigs are good because I can have a flexible schedule. The part time Musuem job is also good because I can have time to write. I also need to buy some clothes. Now I'm feeling overwhelmed-help. At least today, mom didn't mention anything about the trip. We'll see how long that lasts.
