Haven't Missed Mom

Hello Everyone:

I've been enjoying my last few days of mom freedom. I guilitly slept in yesterday and this morning. I can't do that tomorrow because I need to go to the grocery store. Mom already texted me a poorly spelled shopping list. Fortunately, I could make most of it out. I still don't miss her. Believe it or not. I haven't missed mom. I'm not that sentimental about people, except my guy.  I guess all good things have to come to an end. I was thinking of treating myself to a nice meal and dessert to celebrate the end of my vacation. I like the idea but I'll have to see how the funds are doing. I have always have to watch my pennies and I can't always allow myself random treats all the time. I treated myself to dinner last week only because I got so sick and tired of Passover stuff, that I cracked and went to Whole Foods. I splurged a little on Indian inspired food (love) and butterscotch pudding (also love). It was so worth it. I can't do that all the time so I have to be careful. Maybe I'll just treat myself to a nice dessert. Anyway, the blogosphere was productive. I posted a nice piece on the candidates's position on transportation. Let's just say it's not the most talked about subject but it should be because it affects a lot of other issues. The candidates don't have much to say about it. Now that the election is slowly turning toward November, it's really time to start focusing on domestic matters. Tomorrow is the Candidate Forum so I'll have more to say.
