Tired From Writing

Hello Everyone:

I am tired right now. I had a productive day: I did the grocery shopping, posted the weekly edition of the Candidate Forum, and applied for job.  The job is an architectural historian research assistant. It's an entry-level job but it something I can do.  It's for a multi-national firm and the job is in Los Angeles. That's good, my hometown. The job landed in my inbox, sent by the head of the master's program I did. Now, I'm tired. Tomorrow should be another busy day.  Most people think that writing a blog is easy stuff. Just put down random thoughts, hit publish, and move on to the next thing. That may me true for some people but I like to put more effort. I try to make each post a professional looking piece. Admittedly, it could use some copy editing but I do my best. One thing I really try to do is remain objective. It's hard to do when I'm writing the Candidate Forum because the political nature of it inspires passion. Like today, I spent part of the post responding to the chaos of the Nevada  State Democratic Convention.  I really wanted to let fly on the Bernie supporters but I had to massively hold back because I don't want be trolled or worse. This is sad that in this day and age one has to practice self-censorship in order to avoid possibly offending someone. I always thought forum, like blogs, were a place for open discourse not the place where you have strike someone's delicate sensibilities. Sad isn't it.
