Hello Everyone:
A good Monday for me. What made it good was I got what I needed to do done. I posted the latest edition of the blog and updated my social media feed. I know that doesn't sound exciting but that's what I needed to do. Tomirrow I have some more pressing things to do. I still have to finish the free lance agency profile and there's another opening that piqued my interest. It's an architectural historian job for a Los Angeles-based multi-national firm, in Sacremento. I figured, nothing ventured, nothing gained. Besides, if I get the job, I transfer where I want to after a period of time. The Brit BF also suggested I make equiries with UK-based historic preservation journals. The first thing I need to is put together a list of preservation organizations. The only two I can think of right off the top of my head is the National Heritage and the Society for the Preservation of Ancient Buildings (SPAB). The only thing that might be an issue is the fact I'm American. Although, that can be a selling point. An American point of view on preservation. l also want to sight see a little. The prospect of working in foreign country or another city sounds exciting until reality sets in. One thing at a time.
