Still Mobile

Hello Everyone:

Well, it seems that the WiFi in the Business Center is still not working but I'll check again tomorrow.  In the meantime I've gone mobile.  Have iPad, will travel and travel I did-to the nearest bookstore.  Spotty WiFi is a step up from no WiFi.  Sometimes you have to take what you can get.  I did manage to get some writing done.  A rather angry post on terror victims.  I was reacting to the fact that no one mourns for terror victims in the Middle East or Africa.  It was inspired by an article I read this morning on terror in the name of religion.  A heinous thing.  I think this is one of the reasons I'm turned off to religion-the cruelty that is perpetuated in the name of something that's supposed to be a beautiful thing.  I personally don't care if you practice a religion or not.  In my book, everyone has the right to practice or not the faith of their choice.  What also sticks out in my mind is something that a university professor once said, even the religious beliefs of terrorist are valid to them.  That's a truism.  As much as we want to disregard their ideology, we have to accept that the twisted views of one person is as valid to them as our religious ideology.  It's strange but it is true.

Anyway, on a lighter note, one good thing about this unanticipated down time is I've gotten a few errands done.  Eventually, I'll be back at the Business Center and it'll be blogging as usual.  Now, I'm really grateful that I bought the Bluetooth keyboard case.  It's definitely come in handy.  I bought it for the express purpose of being able to go mobile without schlepping "the suitcase" (the laptop bag) and looking for a wall outlet.  So, here I sit, while the world turns, writing a few thoughts.  It's all good.
