Reportage

Hello Everyone:

A good day in the blogosphere for me. I posted the latest edition of Blogger Candidate Forum. It was a nice piece on John Kasich, the Governor of Ohio. Unfortunately, Senator Marco Rubio, the person I was supposed to profile next week. suspended his campaign. This means Donald Trump is next in the forum. So far, I've been remarkably restrained with the snarky comments. I just hope I can hold back next Tuesday.  Profiling Donald Trump will require monumental self-discipline. Just report, no editorial comments. I think I may have to have pleasant pictures out to keep myself from going out of my mind. I'm grateful that I do this once a week. I think if I reported on the elections full time, I'd go completely insane. I don't know how the real political reporters do this all the time. I'm sure they have their coping mechanism. It's the sliminess of this campaign that's really getting under my skin. The 24/7 full volume taunts, insults, and school yard bullying that's so bothersome. And it's only mid-March. Can you imagine what the generals will be like?  I may have to go dark following the conventions. Whining aside, I actually enjoy the political reporting. It's even better when I get to report on Blogger related subjects. The best part of this election cycle is the unpredictability of it all. Can't wait to find out what happens next.
