Popping The Question, Sort Of

Hello Everyone:

A good day today. Well, at least, better than yesterday. I got the Thursday chores done and out of the way and went to get my hair trimmed. I know, big deal. Well, what happened before I went the salon was a kind of a big deal. The National Trust for Historic Preservation, who I follow on the social media pages, has an ongoing campaign called "This Places Matters."  It encourages civilians to call out places that have local historic cultural value. Today, the National Trust posted a picture on Instagram, sent in by someone standing in front of a tavern museum. I liked it and posted a comment, "A museum dedicated to food and beverage?  #historichappyhour approves..."  For those of you who don't know who #historichappyhour is, it's my hedonistic alter ego who love to eat, drink, and be merry. Unlike, its more bookish twin historicpca.blogspot.com. Anyway, a couple of hours later, the National Trust replied to my comment, inquiring of the happy hour was a regular feature. I explained to them what the happy hour is and invited them to contact me. Cool. It's like they popped the question I've waiting for-let's partner up. Speaking of popping the question, the Brit BF sort of proposed today. I know, how do you sort of propose?  He sent me one of his Hollywood fantasy messages in which he referred to me as his fiancĂ©e. I'm like, did you just propose. Fortunately, he's chivalrous enough not to offer a cyber-proposal. However, it is in his plans, in the future. Distant future. Ugh. Suddenly people want me.
