Hi All:
It's Wednesday afternoon and I'm ready for a nap. No rest for the wicked. I still have errands to do but for now I'm content to sit here and talk to you and sip my coffee. Yesterday, I did it. No I didn't make love to the bf again (shoot). I got the additional piercings. I went to Art and Soul Tattoo (http://www.artandsoultattoos.com) and had Kira, the assistant manager do the job. The place is small, not scary, clean, and professional. She told me what she was going to every step of the way. I was hoping to get a navel and tragus piercing but she checked out my navel and told in her professional opinion it wasn't possible because the skin flap was too taut and it wouldn't heal properly. Damn all those crunches. Anyway, I ended up getting my ear lobe and tragus pierced. It came out great. The lobe didn't hurt so much but the tragus was high on the pain scale. I think I just about jumped out the chair. It's still a bit sore but it looks great, they both do. Oh oh, spotify is playing The Who's "Who Are You." Must resist screaming out "who the fuck are you." It's an actual line in the song, really. Back to the topic, I already posted the picture on Facebook and Twitter and got a like from the bf and friend. Mom already saw it and rolled her eyes. She especially "loved" the fact that I wasn't done with shop. I still plan on getting those tattoos but have to really save up for it. I showed the designs to one of the tattoo artists and he we was really nice about answering my questions. Overall, it was a great experience. Too bad about the navel piercing. Oh well, I'll live.
Another serious Jewish holiday is coming up next week. Hey, Jewish people are happy blessed people who know how to celebrate. Mom is planning a big luncheon at the house next Wednesday with the family and the bf. At least with the bf there and the bottle of 192, I can maintain some level of sanity. She's in full shopping/cooking mode. Since this is a short holiday-two days-it's nota as bad as Passover but still. Hopefully she won't descend into psycho-mom. Wishful thinking. Maybe after everyone leaves for the afternoon, the bf and I can engage in love making to de-stress. Now spotify is playing one of my all time favorite songs, and one of my favorite love songs, "Harvest Moon" by Neil Young. I saw him once and he did this song live and it was so beautiful. Anyway, I'll try to check in as much as I can next week. For now, we'll talk more tomorrow.
