Not Ready

Hello Everyone: I managed to close out the work week without having a complete mental collapse. That's pretty big accomplishment right there. It turns out that other people in my work group are also feeling overwhelmed, under trained, and mentally exhausted. I was so tired Thursday evening, that after I logged off for the day, I put my head down on my laptop. I did manage to make it over to my bed and put my pajamas before passing out for the night. I still don't have access to all the software I need but I'm not in a rush. I still need to learn the software I loaded o n my work laptop. I really don't feel ready to start talking to people about theor COVID status because there's still more I need to learn about the nuts and bolts of contact tracing. The main thing now is learning how to propey document the calls. I need to be as accuratw as possible because this is a person's medical record. I think if practice enough, I'll be able to handle tracing calla with some confidence or, at least, fake it. In the meantime, I'm looking for more permenant work. An opening for an adjunct professor of art history at a local community college landed in my inbox. I always fancied teaching in a post secindary school. I tick off most of the qualifactions boxes. Worth taking a look at. Anything to get out of being locked in the house, telling people they need to hide themselves for two weeks.
