Filled My Time

Hello Everyone: Today was a work training bank holiday. The day after Easter was a random day off for contact tracers assigned to the school district. Fine, I found other things to do with my time. Tomorrow it's job training redeux. Since I have a vaccine appointment on Wednesday, I plan to bail out of the afternoon session. Based on what I saw last week, orientation and training is so dull. My plan is to do the training partly listening in on my phone and partly on my laptop. In the meantime, I crafted a draft of an informational interview letter that I plan to send out to museum public programming and education directors, as well as apply for work in the field. As I was researching the names and contact information of the directors, a funny thing happened. The president and ceo of the motion pictures museum checked out my LinkedIn profile. As it turns out we have a mutual connection. Coincidence or the universe intervening? I immediately sent an invitation to connect and I hope he accepts it. I'm perfectly happy with coming to work at his museum on a part time basis. In other news, I rescheduled my broadband installation appointment for Thursday and let PLB maintenance know about. I made it very clear to maintenance that the tech was waiting for someone to open the cable room and I need WiFi for work. I really wasn't happy about the delayed install but hopefully it should be resolved by this week. Anyway, it's dinner time.
