Appointment Coping
Hello Everyone:
Today's appointment excursion was pretty routine. In and out quickly. The only fussing was from mum who was the most impatient patient. Fortunately I got home and had enough time to do some blogging. I was also hoping to run out to the grocery store to pick up a few items for the morning but that didn't happen. No worries I have enough in the refrigerator to chose from. The only real downside was that I started to run a little short on time getting dressed. Some of it had to do with my own procrastination and some of it was just deciding what to wear. The procrastination comes from not wanting to go with mum to her appointments because they are such a drain on my time. Also, since she has to book a ride share trip, I kind of hope she won't be able to get a good time and have to cancel the appointment. Or she wakes up in the morning and decides she doesn't feel like going to the doctor and cancels. Neither situation happens often, much to my dismay, so I just bring stuff to do and provisions. The oldest nephew did that recently when mum asked him to take her to the doctor for an unscheduled visit. He brought his studies with him. On those extremely rare moments when Sis takes mum to the doctor, she works on her phone. I can't do that, read or do anything more than send emails or check my social media pages on my phone, even with a wider screen. Anyway, at least the rest of this week and next seem appointment-free. Thank goodness.
