Something To Smile About

Hello Everyone:

I just found out that my friend from grad school lives across the street from me.  How cool is that?  That was the cherry on top an otherwise good day.  The good things that happened today was a great run this morning and a video call with the Brit BF.  He gave me an update on how the animation festival went.  The short story is it went well.  He ended up going for sushi and drinks with someone with a connection to Netflix who gave a potential agent to contact.  The one thing that made me laugh was he checked the men's room for someone he was really hoping to meet.  During a chat last week, I jokingly mentioned that he should corner him in the men's room, if necessary.  Well, the Brit BF sort of did that.  He had to heed the call of nature and whilst mid-stream, check to see if his target person was there. He wasn't and apparently this person didn't want to take any pitch meetings but all's well that ends well.  Anyway, I was hoping to set up my new phone today but my time got a little away from me I couldn't go to the Business Center to use their WiFi.  I'll try again tomorrow after the hair salon.  Do want to hear something crazy?  I'm actually looking forward to going to the dentist.  Seriously.  I got a referral from sis and, after some back and forth, I set up an appointment.  I've always been a little self-conscious about my teeth but I finally decided to take the plunge and do something about it.  Now if I could just have something to regularly smile about.
