A Small Complaint

Hello Everyone:

Just a quickie because I’m falling asleep. I was in a pretty good mood this afternoon because my new phone arrived. It’s bigger than the one I have now which means I need a new cover; already have it picked out. Mum was her usual charming self. She asked me to put together a soup and was being typically less than helpful.  The soup came out good after I helped it along. I still think it needs a little something else. I’ll give it another taste test to see if it needs more help. I even managed to get some writing done before I went to the dollar store. I got there at good time because it wasn’t that busy, long line at the two open back registers not withstanding. That’s one of the many things I don’t get about retail, why stores never seem to have enough cashiers at pique times?  You would think that at 5:00 pm, when people are getting off work and need to run in for something quick, there would be enough help, right?  It’s even more maddening earlier in the day but what are you going to do?  Anyway, I’m going to bed.
