A Quiet And Damp Day

Hello Everyone:

A much more mellow Wednesday for me.  No running to the phone or Apple store to deal with data migration chaos.  In fact it was a very quiet and damp day, perfect for just sitting and doing some quiet work.  For me, that meant blogging about a constitutional amendment.  I know it sounds super dorky but for a few hours, I sat and wrote about how one of the amendments is being misused in the impeachment inquiry.  In more fun news, the Brit BF and I had a lovely chat.  He gave me the wrap up on the animation festival he attended, including meeting with a representative from a literary agency, headed by the son of a former major studio executive.  Big stuff.  Fingers and toes crossed.  I sent him a picture of "our special spot," the top landing of the emergency stairs in my building.  I call it "our special spot" because we, um let's just say, had a couple of intimate moments.  I think this is where he might propose to me.  He hasn't said anything yet about getting engaged, that's a very long way off but knowing him, he'll pick somewhere significant to the both of us.  That's what I want, maybe not "our special spot," more like someplace else, like where we first met, the PLB Business Center.  My fantasy proposal site is Cinderella's Castle at Disneyland or the London Eye.  Anyway, did I mention I super happy about not having to sit through some lame birthday party?  I am.  Mum is still nagging me to get some cupcakes but I really don't want supermarket cupcakes.  I would prefer something way more decadent from this wonderful bakery, not far from my house.  Besides, it's pretty pathetic to pick out your own birthday cake, right?
