Cycling Through
Hello Everyone:
Sunday evening and time to write. It’s been a mostly drama-free four days, just the way I like it. Thursday was Halloween and I got my candy fix. Nothing like candy corn and good candy to put a smile on my face. The only minor drama was an iron that started shouting sparks and flames. That wasn’t good. The good part was I just about done with a tablecloth. I quickly texted sis to find out if she had an extra to spare. She did and I have it until it can be replaced. All good. I’ve been having this running argument with mum over her oxygen devices. Mum has two devices to give her additional oxygen: A stationary unit for the house with a long cord and a portable one for going out. She doesn’t like to use either one and I don’t blame her but she needs it. Mum goes through cycles where she feels energetized enough to do things with until she gets to the point of near collapse. I’ve told her time and again that she needs to hook herself up at home so she can breathe easier but no. I told her she needs to take her portable device with her when she goes out again no. Short of gluing the cord to her face (one option), there’s nothing I can do. Her doctors said to use the devices but she doesn’t listen to them either. Okay, we’ll just keep cycling through until she learns her lesson. Anyway, I’m tire.
