Very Eventful Five Days

Hello Everyone:

Wow it’s been almost a week since we chatted. It’s been a very eventful five days and let me try to recap it for you. On Wednesday I went to a fabulously funky Independence Day concert and fireworks. One of the local synagogues put together an evening trip. The price included a ticket, food, and transportation. The only downside was a bus full of grannies. Once I got to the venue I’ll sort of ditched everyone and danced the night away. At one point I organized a bunch of strangers sitting across the aisle from me for a group selfie to send to the Brit BF. That was new behavior for me: Organizing a bunch of strangers for a group selfie on the spur of the moment. The Brit BG loved it. The next day and day after, on the other hand, were quite stressful. An earthquake knocked out the elevators and because it was a holiday, it took forever for The repairmen to sort of fix it. That meant I had to walk up and down the stairs with a full basket of laundry. Wasn’t happy about that. The next day I sprained my ankle at the park when I stepped off a curb. Of course I couldn’t take any real time to rest and heal. In fact, it made me feel super slow to the point of being neurotic. Oh yes, there was another earthquake Friday evening. Perfect dinner entertainment. At least the rest of the weekend was very restful. Thank goodness. I really needed the rest. My ankle is much better. I think I should be ready to run on it in a couple of days. Time to sleep
