Messing With Mum
Hello Everyone:
A nice start to the week. I actually got up with the alarm this morning and had ample time to do whatever I needed to. So happy about that. I'm trying to run more and walk less on the bad ankle. It's a process and I'm trying to be patient with it. It was a pretty nasty sprain. I'm pretty sure I heard bones crack. Nothing broke, thank goodness, but the same it's been painful and tender. I tortured mum a little today. She's been taking medication that makes her frequently use the toilet. I feel bad for her (no, not really) because it's major inconvenience. Nevertheless, I decided to let my passive-aggressive side out for a little bit of exercise today and mess with her brain. It's not much of a challenge because she takes everything so literally. It's more fun to mess with the youngest nephew because he's a little on the gullible side. I just kept dropping hints about using the toilet. You know things like running the water, offering her beverages, making pee noises, asking her if she needed to go, stuff like that. It's kind of mean, especially in light of everything she's done for me, but once in a while, I need have some fun--a perverse kind of fun. Changing the subject, over the weekend mum suggested I check out a vocational training program so I can learn some skills and start working quickly. Sound idea that I followed through on. I wasn't sure what I should take so I emailed someone to find out if they had any programs that would make sense to me. What would make sense for me is something related to art and architecture history. That's the ideal. Mum suggested I learn transcription. Sounds like something I can do, transcribe notes. It's probably would be good money, enough to cover my needs. Hopefully, someone can point me in the right direction.
