Still Hot

Hello Everyone:

It is still unrelentingly hot. The only thing that’s getting through all this is the thought it’s only a temporary state. Eventually the heat will go away and it’ll be cooler. In the meantime, I just try to stay cool. The Brit BF and I had a nice phone chat today. He gave a good suggestion where to look for work. He’s still quite determined to come back to Los Angeles.  I know he will. Friday evening I was so exhausted that I barely made it through dinner. After dinner, I just collapsed in bed and slept. Saturday was pretty nice. I mostly read and listened (partially) mum complain about the weather. This coming week she’ll be on edge because the Minion is going on a big trip with his camp. They’re going to the Grand Canyon. That should be fun. A few days of being in the wild and the great outdoors. Of course, I, Ms. Room Service, says this. My idea of the “great outdoors” is a day hike footed by a hot bath, massage, and room service at a minimu four star hotel.  The minion should have fun. Mum, on the other hand, will be a wreck until he comes back on Thursday. Anyway, I’m kind of tired so more later.
