Not quite as productive day but, nevertheless, stuff got done. The only downside was I was running late to everything. I think spent a little too much time at the park this morning, trying pick my way around mud puddles, homeless encampments, and avoid being harassed by the homeless. You know, one woman wanted me to give her my hoodie. Yes, just like that, she said I should give her my hoodie because she was from Vermont and USC. Total load of crap and the guy she was with starting laughing at her. Of course I didn't give it to her but totally outrageous. It had me thinking maybe I should find some place else to work out. Or maybe the police should start patrolling the park more regularly. Picking my way through the homeless encampments are a real pain. It's not just people in sleeping bags in door ways, it's all their possessions that are strewn about. I'm not heartless, It's terrible to have so many people sleeping out on the streets but why does it have impede my use of a public space? There has to be some solution. Maybe one day. In the meantime, I might have to rethink using the park. Ridiculous
