Vegetarian Passover

Hello Everyone:

Another nice and productive day for me. Got a couple of errands done and posted the latest edition of the blog. Now it’s time to relax. I put on my chill outfit (nightshirt) and put the hair up, ready to wind down. So far, the pre-Passover preparations have been going smoothly. The big issue is finding Passover-friendly vegetarian options to the usual plant based foods. What amazes me is, with all the Torah scholars, you would think someone would’ve figured something out instead of leaving people to do the guess work. I’ve asked a couple of people and the response I’ve gotten is a blank stare. Like “who’s heard of a vegetarian on Passover?”  Or, “can’t you just eat fish?”  No, being a vegetarian means no fish, no poultry, no beef period end of sentence. I still eat eggs and dairy so that’s not a problem.  What is an issue is everything else.  I just have to make due, again, this year. I don’t get why it’s hard for religious experts to figure out how to be a vegetarian during Passover. I don’t think anyone wants to starve or just eat salad three meals a day, for eight days. Yuck. Anyway, on to something else. Every now and then I imagine what life would be like with the Brit BF. It’s a good life. We live in a nice place, happy. It’s all speculation. Happy speculation.
