Pajama Weekend

Hello Everyone:

I have been enjoying a weekend of hibernation. The damp weather made lounging around in my pajamas all day almost a necessity. That’s exactly what did all day, yesterday. It was raining and the thought of getting dressed a non-starter.  So, basically, I spent the day eating, reading, and sleeping. I really needed a day like that after my eye and a bad migraine.  The day after my migraine, I felt better but still unwell. This continued through the end of the week. The rain just provided a convenient excuse. I got in touch with the Sometime BF to find out what was going on with him. He told me that the transfer he requested, got denied. His mum is still in good spirits. He sounds exhausted. He’s got way too much on his plate and needs more help at home. His brothers don’t live nearby so they aren’t available to help out. That’s a pity Work-wise, it’s an office politics situation. I told him, in an email I sent him, that his supervisor may be dealing with something at home or at work and lashing out at her department. I also told to make sure to have an exit strategy. Poor guy, does too much.  In the meantime, the Brit BF and I continued our Trans-Continental, Trans-Atlantic flirtation. I like the fact the he wants the relationship and sees a future for the both of us.  That’s a comforting feeling.  Better than a pair of pajamas. Well, almost better than pajama.
