I kind of messed up. Messed myself up by trying to pull out the remainder of a torn contact lense and ended up poking myself in the eye. Now my eye is swollen and teary. It's making me miserable and hard to focus on anything. I have to make a long overdue appointment with the eye doctor. Before I do that, I have check my coverage. Aside from the appointment, I think the cost of my contacts would be covered, up to a certain amount. No worries. For now, I have a pretty limited attention span. I also have a headache, from all the blinking and the shift in the wind's direction. The upside is I got the remaining contact lense out of my eye. I was able to flush it out with running water. I had to stop writing today's post because I just could not focus. So, I decided to save and pick it up another day. In the meantime, I did something fairly constructive today. I touched base with the Brit BF's friend/fairy godfather about a list of potential employers. The friend suggested I check out this one developer that's working with one of the major contemporary architects on a local development project. Yes, as soon as I sit for more than two minutes. Okay, need to finishup before I completely lose all focus.
