The allergies are still hanging around but I was feeling well enough to go to the park this morning for a workout. I think the trip to the dollar store and spending the afternoon in the business center kind of did me in. Now I'm hungry and ready to sleep. Oh well, I'll go home soon and crash out for the night. There is this one older gentleman who always hangs out at the PLB Business Center. He's part of the residents association so he has some legitimate reason to be there. If he sees me, he starts to bend my ear, repeating the same stories over again. I usually tune him out. Today, he shared some confidential information about the Center manager. I sat there thinking "what is this guy talking about and why is he telling me all this?" Okay it's not like I'm going to post or tweet any of this information but the manager and her assistant have been very kind to me. I try not to indulge in any gossip but hI was disparaging people I generally get along with or at least try to. Perhaps he knows something I don't since he's one of the people that decide on staffing matters. Still, I don't like when people trash talk like that. He even went as far as to tell me he did a background check on the PLB Business Center manager and got negative reports. Fine do a background check, not like working for PLB is like working for the federal government but keep the results to yourself. Don't share them because you never know if the person you're sharing it with will spread it around. Again, not me. Anyway, I mostly deleted everything he said. I just wish he would leave me alone. Even the EarPods don't help. What is it about some people that just don't have a clue.
