Good Reads on a Sunday

Hello Everyone:

It's a rather mellow Sunday and I jus sitting back and enjoying the moment.  Sundays are really nice that way because it's still the weekend but it's slowly moving into the week.  Sis and the BIL are taking my teenage niece out for her birthday later and invited me.  I don't Kniw where they're going and I might go, if I'm so inclined.  I plan on spending some time today doing some reading.  I'm in  the middle of three great books I recently checked out from the library: Death and Life of American Cities by Jane Jacobs, The Image of The City Kevin Lynch, and I Kevin Starr's history of California.  The first two are seminal books on the the subject of urban planning and design.  The third book is part of a multi-volume set on every aspect of California.  If you've never heard of or read any these books, you're really missing out on some great reads.  I feel like I'm still adding context and understanding to what I've been taught at USC.  They're not too technical or boring and are relevant today.  Anyway, I'm getting hungry and the iPad is looking tasty.
