Silver Lining
Hello Everyone:
Things seem to be finally moving forward. All the paperwork I needed to submit for mum's retirement account is in, which means I seriously make plans. My plans are focused on how to make the most of what I have and add to it. I feel confident that I can manage it and if I have questions, I know who to ask. On Friday I got a nice surprise in the mail. In an acknowledgment of reality, PLB Management lowered my rent. Very happy about that. The rent reduction is in step with the current market conditions--rents are going down everywhere. Sometimes it does pay to wait it out. I guess there is a silver lining in the COVID cloud. Anyway, lunch with the family was good. We got onto the subject of my eldest nephew's dating prospects. He hasn't dated much, mostly spending time with his friends and focused on school. Now, it seems he's ready to try casual dating. He did drop that he was open to inter-faith relationships to which his oh-so conservative parents weren't too thrilled about. Good thing I haven't exactly disclosed the nature of my relationship with my handsome British prince. They don't even want him living with a girl. Yes, they're that religious. I think he's not ready to settle down just yet and don't care if he wants to casually date. He's too young and doesn't know what he wants. No one realistically expects him to live like a monk. He'll be fine and so will I.
