Happily Annoyed

Hello Everyone:

Happy and annoying day.  The happy part was the baby niece.  She and her adults came for lunch.  My goodness she's getting big and is cute as a button.  She can walk if she holds onto something.  Still hasn't quite gotten the hang of putting food in her mouth but getting there, slowly.  Thanks to the baby niece, we discovered that one of the dining table legs is loose when she accidentally kicked the table.  Whoops.  The annoying part was mum decided to order lunch--fine accept I really didn't want anything--nothing from the menu interested me.  Of course mum being mum, kept annoying me until I just picked the cheapest thing on the menu.  It wasn't even that great and was soggy.  Whatever, it was food.  Another annoying thing was a carry over from yesterday.  Mum roped me into going with her to a pair of doctors appointments and offered to pay me for it.  I kept telling I didn't want the money, I just wanted to get it over with.  Did she listen when I said no to the money?  No, why would she.  She won't even take the money back.  I know I sound ungrateful but really, I didn't want lunch or the money.  I don't need someone with a history of being unappreciative pretending to be appreciative.  I was so annoyed that I had pause a post on the blog today and do something else.  It's like, what part of "no thank you" do you not understand?  It's so infuriating when I say something and someone freely disregards it.  The Sometimes BF did it on Valentine's Day when I specifically told him to come over close to evening and he showed up much earlier.  When I told him not to do that again, he took it as a joke.  Needless to say, I haven't asked him back.  Anyway, I better go make some food for myself before mumsy comes back to annoy me.
