It's a lovely Monday afternoon and my attention span is just about gone. I have just have enough attention to blog a little more and read some more of this book I checked out from the library. The subject is early California history. It's one of those books you need to read if you want to know anything about California. It's actually pretty good but the scholarship is obviously dated. Anyway, right now I'm dealing with iPad keyboard angst. I found a really cool keyboard cover on good old Amazon about a few years ago in purple leather. Great. However, the keyboard is slowly giving out from over use. Basically, I have to either replace it or use the built in keyboard, which I don't like because I can't go as fast. What happened to the trusty laptop? I still haven't replaced the hard because it's expensive. What I really should do is find out is if I can retrieve the files from the dead hard drive and load them on to a flash drive. I should google that, then find out how much it costs. It can't be anymore than replacing a hard drive, can it? Speaking of computers, I'm going to book into my daily to-do list to send a resume over to Apple for a sales job. Socially conscious, the paycheck, and a discount on the stuff--the items on my retail job checklist. This how mercenary I've become: Just give me the money and discounted stuff, be a good corporate citizen. Not that much to ask for. Okay time to eat dinner
