Step By Step

Hello Everyone:

It’s been a quiet few days. Good, I like it that way. I managed to get everything I set out to do done. Writing it down in advance helps keep me on track. I was a lot little concerned on Friday that I was running late. I had to go to the nearest discount store to pickup a couple of things and there was a long line at the cashier and everyone wanted a discount on top of a discount. By the time I got home, I still had a couple things to do in the kitchen before I could eat lunch and clean up the kitchen. Somehow, I managed to get it all done. By the time I finished dinner I had enough energy to get ready for bed. Thank goodness for Saturday and my day to sleep in.  Yes, thank goodness for the one day a week I get to sleep in. That’s why I don’t exactly like going to Sis’s house or anywhere else in Saturdays. Can’t exactly blame me for wanting to have one day to myself. The Brit BF had a nice flirty message thread. I think I might have to marry him if he asks.  He’s such a great guy. We still need to have a conversation about the direction of this relationship. I feel confident that we get it together. Right now my immediate future is an editor’s gig. Ever since my LinkedIn contact told me I have the skill set to be an editor, I got excited. Finally, someone told me what I can do with my skills and education. I feel like I a weight’s been lifted off me. I can stop wondering and set a goal of getting an editorial job. In the interim, I’m actively applying for shop work. Even the Brit BF sent a timely writing gig link that is want to check out. One step at a time.
