Invitations

Hello Everyone:

I just thought I should put down a few words before I go to sis's house for dinner. Yes, I decided to go. My day was rather nice. I slept in a little this morning before going running in the park. I had a couple of things to do around the house but mostly, I just did nothing. Not too bad a day. I'm just happy I got some sleep last night because I was so tired.  I should be able to sit through dinner this evening without dozing off. My niece's in-laws will be ther so I might have to make civil conversation with them. I don't have too high an opinion of them. Frankly I think they're just gold diggers who were looking for someone else to support their aimless son. Mum doesn't like them much either and I still have no clue what my niece sees in their son. Obviously she didn't marry him for live or his looks. Perhaps I can get through the meal without chatting with them. They don't strike me as anyone I might be interested in. Perhaps there'll be other people I can chat with. I have a lunch thing tomorrow as well so hopefully that'll be better. It's being hosted by people I barely know. Sis was the one who passed along the invitation and I think I said yes. I'm not quite sure about that one. Oh well, at least after lunch the Sometime BF will materialize and I can have some human company.
