Hello Everyone:
This has been a kind of fun weekend. Yesterday I went to a pre-wedding hen party. It was just a nice gathering with lots of food and drink. Nothing wild, darn. I was hoping for alcohol and male strippers but not with this crowd. My niece and her friends did most of the work and they did a nice job. My sister was having a fit about the guest list. She was hoping to contain the number of people coming to the festivities but, of course, impossible to do. I was having some fun with that. At one point, she brought up the fact that a few of the guests are pregnant and may be ready to blow. I had an evil thought, what if they all went into labor during the ceremony? That would be a moment straight out of the sit-com hall of fame. Guess who would have to help delivery the babies, in her nice custom made dress? That would be too epic. Anyway, in the meantime I just do whatever I need to during the day. I'll just show up at the appointed time and fake enthusiasm. The up side of all the wedding preparations is I'm getting something out of it, like a pretty new pair of earrings and two new dresses. Hey, I have to look out for myself, right. I can't wait until his all over and life can return to something that resembles normal.
