Schedule Change Day

Hello Everyone:

Today was schedule adjustment day.  It seemed like I had to re-arrange my time all day.  First, we got a letter from PLB about fire alarm testing in the building.  There was no need to evacuate, the lights might be off and the elevator would down.  That turned out not be an issue because I was able to go to the grocery store without worrying about having to walk up stairs with a cart full of groceries.  Then, I got an email from PLB Maintenance about the a water shut off.  Okay, I got to shower before going to the market.  That's what I really wanted to do this morning and it worked out.  However, there was a notice posted by the elevator about laundry room maintenance tomorrow, the day I do laundry.  Problem.  I told mum I would help her out in the kitchen and knowing her, she invited the hens over tomorrow afternoon.  No worries, I can do the laundry either in the late afternoon or evening, while I'm mid-kitchen duties.  It'll work out.  Otherwise, today was pretty chill after the faux emergency on Monday.  I did mange to post the latest and greatest on the blog.  Another good thing I did this morning was get up early enough so I could prepare and eat my breakfast before mum shuffled into the dining area.  I find that when I do that, I feel a lot more relaxed because I have a few minutes to just sit, sip my coffee, and check out the news.  I decided that the carer could work to my advantage by letting get back to my preferred early morning runs and maybe I can use her for other purposes.
