Heatwave

Hello Everyone:

I decided to work at home today because it's too darned hot to go outside.  I did go running this morning and went to the grocery store but after that, no more.  Fortunately, mum was too tired or lazy to pester me about anything and left me alone to work.  The heatwave is supposed to break over the weekend and if it were up to me, it would stay cold until next May, at least.    Fortunately, I haven't been suffering during the hot weather.  I have a nice fan in my room and I keep the windows open.  I really feel bad for the people who have to work outside.  I suppose they're used to it and know how to stay hydrated.  Speaking of staying hydrated, I've been drinking so much water that I feel like I'm sloshing around inside.  Oops, spoke too soon about mum not pestering me, she's nagging me to eat dinner.  Well I am getting hungry so I'll keep things short.  Anyway, all the water I drink is good for me, or so I was told.  The only downside is the obvious, I have to run to the toilet frequently.  What really sucks is that pool and gym use is not a perk of rent.  I know, go figure but that's how PLB rolls.  I asked about it once and someone told me that the rent isn't high enough to justify making the pool and gym open to everyone.  What a load of crap.  That's one certain about PLB management and the Residents Association, they're really good at coming up with b.s. reasons why something can't be done or why it costs extra.  Okay, now I need to eat.  Later
