Not Winter, Right?
Hello Everyone:
It's spring, right? Just checking because it looks like winter outside. So much for April showers bring May flowers. Anyway, once again, mum created some phone drama. This time it was genuinely all her fault. She splashed water on her phone and naturally it died. Mum was so impatient for a functioning phone, that she couldn't even wait for it properly dry in a bag of flour. I didn't have enough white rice to dry it. Of course she had to use mine but, again, was too impatient to wait for it to recharge. I made her wait before using it. The good news is she had another phone that she could activate, saving her the hassle of getting a new one. Drama over. I just did some quick research about drying phones and it turns out that white rice isn't the best option. A sponge or oatmeal dried more water over 24 hour period than white rice. Okay. Let's hope I never have to put that theory to the test. The best part of the day was having an uninterrupted lunch. Mum had a ladies lunch so I got to eat in peace and quiet. I get to do that again tomorrow because she has a doctor's appointment. Love those moments. Another nice moment today, one of the ladies in the senior Pilates class gave me an invitation to a Memorial Day gathering at her house. The class is held in my work space--the PLB Business Center big room--I'm always sitting in the corner, tuned out to everything and everyone. I might just nip by. Okay time for dinner.
