Long Weekend

Hello Everyone:

Sunday evening of a long weekend. The weekend has been mostly restful. I thoroughly get I was going to have time to get my hair done but I when I checked my schedule, I realized I wouldn’t have time. No worries because it wait another week. Anyway, Wednesday I met up with a friend from grad school. We had a perfectly lovely afternoon over coffee. It felt kind of indulgent to spend most of an afternoon having coffee and chatting with someone instead of plugged into a laptop.  After the meet up, I reloaded on some skin care. Thursday was pretty status quo. Yesterday, mum casually informed me that she wants me to go with her to the eye doctor on Wednesday. She says it’s just a scheduled check up but after the last time, I really don’t believe her. Last time, the appointment was for no reason at all. That whole was such a drain on my time. Come to think of it, every time I grudgingly agree to with her to an appointment, I just want to get it over with as fast as possible. Anyway, I might be able to get something out of it for myself. Tomorrow should be kind of a fun day for me. I plan to go to the museum tomorrow to check out an exhibit or two. Mostly, I want to photograph the original buildings before some idiot knocks them down and puts up a giant squiggle. Totally enjoyable.
