Interesting Story

Hello Everyone:

I just came across a really fascinating story I’ve never heard. It’s the true story (all the more fascinating) of an Afro-Samurai in feudal Japan. That’s a major first for me and a lot of people, based on the comments. A very quick Google search revealed a little more information on the “Black Samurai.”  I remember reading about an English sailor who became a samurai but never heard of an Afro-Samurai. Now there’s going to be a movie made of his story and I really can’t wait to see it. Other than this bit of uncovered history, my weekend has be okay. My allergies were acting up yesterday pretty badly. I went out for a walk and felt a little better but after lunch I started to feel worse. After my shower I decided to lie down, thinking i’d Just close my eyes for a few minutes. A few minutes turned into a few hours. This morning I was a lot more energetic. I was able to go for a good run and do the things I needed to do. I was fine on Thursday and Friday, except for a minor sore throat. Yesterday was pretty bad. I’m just glad it was a weekend because I could sleep off a sinus headache without feeling guilty. Interesting part was I wasn’t totally unconscious because I could hear what was going on and all my involuntary noises—ie snoring and whistling.  That puzzled me but I don’t put any thought into it. Anyway, I’m going to get some more sleep tonight so I’ll be even more energetic tomorrow.
