Blogging Break

Hello Everyone:

I decided to give the blogging brain a rest and focus on job search.  I sent a copy of my new and improved resume to a couple of auction houses and did a pre-qualifying screening for the FBI talent network (no lie).  I didn't pass but no worries, another time and place.  Otherwise, it was another quiet day.  I'm finding that if I don't give the blogging brain a rest from time to time, I start to get bored.  When I get bored, I start to get lazy.  Not a good look for me.  So I need to step back and do something else.  Today it was the job search.  I plan on dedicating time, every week, to the job search.  It's important and besides, the more I put out, the more likely something'll stick.  I can't really spend any time for something from the local hiring program.  I have to find my own opportunities.  I should look at museums as well, just thought of that.  One of the most unusual openings I saw today was for an auction house specialist in whiskey.  No coincidence it's in Edinburgh, Scotland where being drunk all the time is way to stay warm (being nice).  My nice, clean, healthy liver couldn't take it.  I'll bet the auction house had a lot of applications for that one.  "Yes, I have plenty of experience with whiskey."  Ha ha.  Okay just a little more work then dinner time.
